BMS For 8 cell, 24v volt Lithium-iron-phosphate DIY batteries.
100 amp continuous charge or discharge current.
Low Temperature Charging cutoff at -1c.
The Apps allow you to monitor SOC (state of charge), Current, Voltage, cell balance, temperature, and more.
This unit has a connection for a remote shutoff switch. Useful for storage or security.
Bluetooth Module is included, Balance wires are included, USB module is an additional purchase.
Fully programmable.
If you choose to add crimped copper lugs, the high current wires will be hydraulically crimped into a single tinned copper lug on each side, and finished with heat shrink tubing.
Final assembly, testing and calibration is done in Naples, Florida. Units with 8 gauge wires and/or crimped lugs are assembled in Naples, FL. The BMS is manufactured in China.

FYI for experimenters: The BMS communicates with a 5v TTL UART at 9600 baud. It is directly compatible with Arduinos, etc.
We have written a new Arduino library for the BMSs, now available on the downloads page. The beta version allows you to read all the monitoring parameters and switch charge and discharge on/off. Future releases will have full read/write capability. A python library is also in the works.

I posted this on DIY Solar Power with Will Prowse youtube channel also. He had this BMS listed in the description and it’s how I found it. “How could you nor love this BMS?” It’s just about idiot proof and if you do kill it and it’s your fault they will still refund/replace.
I mean seriously how are you going to beat it. I can view cell details with your iPhone or Android. It was a perfect fit for my project. Paperwork and illustrations are simple and very well done. I paid the extra $10 to have the lugs crimped on and think it’s a great value.

Worked perfect for me. I 3D printed a holder and standoff’s to make it easy to mount on the side of the battery . The return policy made me laugh. If you fry it .. no problem. No matter what dumb thing you did to kill it I don’t care. I will refund your money. How can you beat that . Bluetooth connection to the BMS makes it easy to keep track of the cells
in your battery. When I build another battery I will get another of these.

Holy cow, the level of attention and care that has been put into selling this in the US market is amazing! Clear, concise instructions, tons of info, testing of the BMS with testing report on the unit. Goodies in the box, fast shipping!
You can tell that the seller really cares about their products and as an engineer, I’m blown away by the attention to detail, care, and even love that has gone into this BMS.
I’ve yet to build a battery as of yet, waiting on shipping; but I’m very proud to have two of these for when my cells arrive!

I agree 100% with one of the other reviewer’s comments regarding the time and care put into the user manual. It’s actually a fun read and the author’s humor and confidence stands out. They have gone full send in choosing to support this BMS. I took my time and fully read the user manual and my setup worked out great, however knowing that they support replacement even if I blew it up due to my own stupidity was reassuring. Shipping was reasonable at about a week and shipping cost was reasonable as well. My setup is in my basement and the Bluetooth reaches up the the 2nd floor so that is nice. So far I’m very happy with the BMS.
